Islington is a fascinating district of London. Upper Street is packed with interesting shops, galleries and provides a great nightlife. Transport: The Northern Line provides great links to the city and West End. There is also a great network of buses and night buses.
Eating & Drinking: With a fantastic range of excellent restaurants and bars ranging from the upmarket trendy bars to the more traditional pubs, there is plenty to choose from.
Shopping: Chapel Market has a lively street market 6 days a week whilst Camden Passage has one of the capital's oldest areas of antique shops. Upper Street has a wide variety of shops to choose from, little boutiques providing unusual things for your home to high street shops. The N1 centre tucked away on Upper Street also provides a further range of shops.
Sports & Recreation: Islington benefits from more theatres than anywhere else outside of the West End, including Sadler’s Wells. The new N1 Centre houses a multi screen state of the art cinema and a live music venue. While the Business Design Centre holds many conferences and exhibitions.
